  • Operator, Integrator, Navigator & Coach

    Equipping Leaders for Intentional Growth

Goals are good for planning your progress and systems are good for actually making progress.” - James Clear, Atomic Habits

What does this mean to me?
  • Operator: An Operator is the backbone of execution—turning vision into reality through effective systems, structure, and rhythm. This role is all about keeping the machine running smoothly, ensuring that daily operations align with the larger goals, and creating the stability needed for rapid growth.
  • Integrator: An Integrator is the connector across the organization, weaving together strategy, teams, and processes. This role ensures that everyone is aligned and moving in sync, bridging ideas and efforts so the entire company operates as a unified force. An Integrator turns big ideas into tangible actions, bridging vision and execution.
  • Navigator: A Navigator charts the course forward, combining strategic foresight with tactical awareness. This role anticipates challenges and spots opportunities, guiding the team through complexity and uncertainty. The Navigator’s insight keeps the company agile and forward-focused, helping leaders steer toward success.
  • Coach: A Coach empowers leaders to bring out the best in their teams by fostering accountability, clarity, and resilience. By educating leaders to connect authentically, develop their people, and build trust, the Coach creates a foundation for lasting growth and impactful results. This approach nurtures both individual potential and collective success, equipping teams not only to meet challenges but also to achieve meaningful, sustained progress. That is the essence of the leader-as-coach mindset.

Experience
With over 20 years of experience spanning numerous venture-backed, early-stage technology startups in industries such as cyber-security, search, augmented reality, and more, I have firsthand experience as an operator building companies from the ground up and navigating complex business obstacles. I’ve worked both as an embedded executive, driving operational excellence and product development, and as an advisor and coach, supporting leaders in their growth as operators, managers, and problem-solvers. My track record includes connecting people with an intentional culture, integrating data and KPIs into decision-making processes, and streamlining business systems to enhance efficiency, efficacy, growth, and scale.

Approach

My approach combines a leader-as-coach mindset, focusing on outcomes over output, enhancing transparency across teams, clarifying accountability across roles, and leveraging the growth of people into the expansion of business opportunities. I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my roles, highlighting the interconnected nature of business functions while ensuring the right work is being done by the right people, for the right customers, at the right time.

Joy

Residing in the San Francisco East Bay Area, I relish tinkering with new technologies, systems, and best practices, and am passionate about assisting and supporting leaders in achieving their strategic goals. As a Santa Clara University MBA, EOS Integrator Masterclass graduate, and credentialed International Coaching Federation coach, I’m focused on building environments where everyone’s work ties directly to the company’s vision, mission, and values—building a culture where the growth of people drives business success, which then creates even more opportunities for growth… establishing self-sustaining cycle where everyone wins.
